Teaching at the Institute of Anatomy comprises lectures, practical courses on preserved bodies and exercises in microscopic analysis of histological sections. These courses are very important parts of the anatomical training, as this is the best way to grasp the complex structure of the human being, the cells and their variability.
The Institute of Anatomy also provides excellent infrastructure and expertise for macroscopic research and services. Teaching staff organize the Clinical Anatomy Skills Lab and postgraduate courses.
The prosecture is responsible for the acceptance and preparation of body donations.
