Clinical Anatomy Skills Lab

The Clinical Anatomy Skills Lab (CASL) is a facility of the gross anatomy unit at the Institute of Anatomy and runs under the direction of Prof. Oliver Ullrich. It contains infrastructure for teaching, training, and research of clinical anatomy and surgical skills. The bodies are supplied by the institute’s body donation program.

Its main goal is to offer an environment where clinicians, surgeons and doctors can gain access to the Institute of Anatomy’s body donations in a controlled environment and where they can establish new surgical procedures, attend postgraduate education in clinical anatomy or perform research.

The lab is accessible for 24 hours every day and can be booked via e-mail. Please consider the required time for conservation and preparation of anatomical specimens and send your booking request es early as possible.
