Through funding from the Forschungskredit, the UZH supports its junior scholars at the doctoral level (Candoc) and the postdoctoral level (Postdoc). We are very proud to announce that two of our staff members received one of these renowned, competitive grants this year. Michał Sobecki, PhD, from the group of Prof. Christian Stockman will get financial support for his project "Vaccination-inspired immunotherapy for fibrotic disease" covering his salary for one year. In addition, Johanna Diener's research project "Neural Crest-Derived Cells in Disease and Regeneration. Novel insights into reprogramming capacities of adult neural crest derivatives" got approved for Candoc funding going toward promising young academics working on an excellent PhD thesis. Congratulations to both of them!
