The Institute of Anatomy contributes to the teaching of the medical students enrolled in the new Bachelor in Human Medicine program (BSc Med) of the ETH Zurich. Over the three years of the BSc Med curriculum, the Institute of Anatomy provides all lectures on gross anatomy and histology. Moreover, the institute's staff organizes and runs a gross anatomical dissection course, which does also include aspects of modern biomedical imaging.

In addition, Prof. David P. Wolfer, who has a double affiliation with the UZH and ETH Zurich, teaches gross anatomy and histology to students enrolled in the ETHZ study program Health Science and Technology.
