Prof. Lukas Sommer elected EMBO Member

We are delighted to announce that Prof. Lukas Sommer has been elected a Member of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO). Election to the EMBO Membership is one of the highest honours for life scientists in Europe. EMBO Members are selected annually by their peers through a rigorous nomination and election process and become part of an international community of leading researchers.

Prof. Sommer's research has fundamentally advanced our understanding of neural crest stem cells, cell fate decisions, and the molecular mechanisms underlying development, regeneration and cancer. His election to the EMBO Membership recognizes these outstanding scientific contributions and their lasting impact on the field.
