Through funding from the Forschungskredit, the UZH supports its junior scholars at the doctoral level (Candoc) and the postdoctoral level (Postdoc). We are very proud to announce that a junior staff members received one of these renowned, competitive grants this year. Raquel Ramos Calçada's research project "Modelling peripheral glia specification by using human embryonic stem cells" got approved for Candoc funding going toward promising young academics working on an excellent PhD thesis. Congratulations to Raquel!
