New research plan of Prof. Christian Stockmann receives funding
The newly funded project will be included into the work package 2 "Dietary ions"of the Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Kidney Control of Homeostasis (Kidney.CH). The expertise of Prof. Christian Stockmann's research group in immunology and vascular biology opens novel approaches to study adrenal gland homeostasis, ion balance and blood pressure control in this highly collaborative research proposal. The scientific findings of the project might contribute to improved treatment options for hypertension.
